TEACHERS: Project Pledge Curriculum Overview
We believe that programs like the ones we offer at Project Pledge can make a difference. Project Pledge is a federally funded program that focuses on building healthy relationships for teens. The program, run by The Partnership, is born out of our belief that Abstinence Education is desperately needed today as an alternative option for teens.

Students welcome the fact that someone is giving them permission not to have sex, and their friends are on board with them. We have 100 middle school and high school kids trained as peer mentors, who are excited to be able to say: "This program gives me the training and opportunities to be a mentor to peers and younger kids."

We use all three Choosing the Best curricula with 6th, 7th, and 8th graders, as well as high school students. The curriculum is activity based and is matched to each school and age group of students.
